I'm a lecturer and Associate Head of Department of Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR) and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Informatics at the same institution, specifically through the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Informática (PPGIa).

My research mainly focuses on machine learning applied to cybersecurity. I've worked with network-based intrusion detection systems using machine learning, and I'm currently focusing on federated learning in the same context.
